Priest in Charge of St Sebastians in Gran Canaria.
Revd Paul is 43 years Old
After leaving College with a Professional Qualification in Social Care, he went to work in a Community Home for Adults with Learning Difficulties and developed Independent Living Programmes with the residents that enabled people to move away from institutionalized homes and back as integrated members of the local community.
He then studied at the College of Nursing specialising in Paediatrics initially and then Rehabilitation and HIV/AIDS. Following the completion of his training he worked at the County Hospital in Hampshire in Rehabilitation
As his call to the ministry increased, he left the health service to concentrate on ministry training undertaking several professional courses and become a Community Development Manager for a Project run by the Church Urban Fund in Southampton
After becoming very disillusioned with the way mainstream churches were becoming more exclusive and excluding members of the marginalized, Revd Paul moved across to the more Independent Ministry.
Following continued training and a Degree Course he was commissioned as a Pastor in June 2003 and ordianed as an Independant Priest in 2004 by the traditional laying on of Hands.
As an independant priest, Revd Paul is not affiliated with any of the mainstream churches, in having an independant inclusive ministry, he is registered as a Priest in Spain and his worship encompasses all faiths and is welcoming and affirming. He is also an associate minister for a variety of other inclusive ministries across the globe as a networking and extended pastoral minister.
