Revd Paul has a unique ministry that combines his gifts as a priest and also as a counsellor

In a world where many are denied Pastoral Care during the toughest times that they face in life- the death of a loved one.  Revd Paul believes firmly that this ministry should not start once the death has taken place, but likes to offer care and support to the family as the time of death arrives and be available to support them.

To conduct the funeral ceremony he will personally visit the family and offer comfort and support to them and share their thoughts on the type and style of ceremony that they would like- whether it is a more traditional style or a more personal and unique style.

The next time he visits, he gets to know more about the deceased life from the next of kin and members of the family, highlighting the many memories that they share of the deceased. From this he will prepare a service that is special and meaningful to them and ensure that the funeral is one that is personal to them.

The third contact is on the day of the funeral when Revd Paul helps to celebrate the person's life in a honest and non-judgemental way along with the hope of the Gospel Message. Family and Friends are encouraged to particiapte in the service and they have a full say on the content and music chosen. It is also possible to have a non-religious ceremony as well.

The fourth contact is the follow up visit to ensure that the family are coping with their loss and to offer ongoing support as required.

On the anniversary of the death, Revd Paul invites the family to come to his church and light a candle and ensures that the name is placed in the memorial book for eternity. The family are also invited to attend the annual All Souls Celebration each year as well.

If anyone would like Revd Paul to conduct their loved ones service please let the undertaker know and also contact Revd Paul direct.

If any Funeral Directors are interested in the services of  Revd Paul, please contact him direct
